I believe the original library was located in Dr. Rutherford's office across the street from the Rutherford home. If memory serves, Mrs. Zimmerman was the librarian there. I recall going there as a youngster looking for books to read around the mid 1950's.
ReplyDeleteYes, it was in Dr Rutherford's doctor's office. Mrs. Zimmerman was his granddaughter. She began the library with her own personal collection of books and it all grew from there.
